I love a good sunrise, and sunset for that matter. Whether the sun is bringing the start of a new day, or leaving us after another, I see them as a time of reflection, an opportunity to slow down. Appreciate the gift of another day, or the gift of the day we have just had. Life is so fast paced these days, sometimes we forget that none of it really matters. Sometimes, the most beautiful gifts are free.
I hand carved the ring from wax, and used my engraving tool to create each sun ray before having it cast into sterling silver. I then set 2 × 3mm fully traceable Citrines on either side to symbolise the sun itself.
PLEASE NOTE - the reason this is a sample ring, is because when I was setting one of the stones, it moved slightly which means the stones table is at a slight angle and is not perfect. You can’t tell when you look at it head on, but you can notice it if you look closely from the side. It is firmly set, just a bit wonky. Still perfectly imperfect to wear, and an absolute bargain!!
