I used to doodle double spirals all the time when I was younger, I had no conscious meaning behind it at the time, but looking back, I wonder if I was connecting to the collective all along. I love the idea that they represent the journey of life, and the deep connection to the divine feminine often representing the womb as an energetic vortex. I have been really inspired to make pieces that reflect all of this by using them in my work. My whole life has felt like a woven journey that has got me to this point.
The spirals are handmade using 925 sterling silver, I then added the golden rutile in Quartz beads to add some pizaz! It’s one of my favourite gemstones, the needle like inclusions are formed when titanium dioxide is present and gets trapped inside the quartz crystal structure leaving them majestically suspended in time. It’s also known as the Illuminator of the Soul in the crystal world and is thought to be a powerful amplifier of all good intentions…..yes please! Ready to ship!
