I am obsessed with these spessartine garnet beads. They literally speak summer to me which makes sense as the crystal is known as the ‘Garnet of the Sun’. Sunset is my favourite time of the day, some of the best ones I have seen were on an island just off Cambodia called Koh Rong. I had never seen anything like it, especially during golden hour. This necklace is made in honor of all the incredible sunsets I have been lucky enough to witness whilst sat on the beach.
The necklace is handmade with the sweetest gold filled sea shell charm added for detail. I made a lovely hook clasp from gold filled wire to compliment it and make it a feel more special. I love how well the orange hues of the beads go with gold. I made the necklace 16” so it stacks perfectly with others as well as on it’s own.
