Citrine Sunburst Ring
Sunrise and sunsets have always been a really magical time for me. I have been blessed to watch some incredible ones all over the world, each one engrained into my memory bank holding a core memory in my life.
The sunrise is always a wonder to see, a reminder that we have another day here, a clean slate and fresh start. Yesterday is in the past, and tomorrow is yet to come. All we really ever has is the present, this very moment, nothing else really matters. Not what happened yesterday, or what may or may not happen tomorrow. Just now.
When the day has been and gone, and the sun starts to set, it’s always been my time to sit and reflect. Let go of anything that no longer serves me, and give thanks for the day we have just had. Again, cleaning the slate as it starts to go down with the suspense that we have no idea what tomorrow will hold.
To master being fully present throughout the day is one that I am still working hard to master, I made this to remind us that all we really have is the now. I hand carved the piece out of wax, and used the ancient lost wax casting process to turn it into silver. Each sun ray is engraved by hand, and I set a beautiful 5mm citrine in the centre which I sourced from Gemstones Brazil. It’s fully traceable from Maira’a family mine and is AAA in colour. For the final finish added an 18 carat gold plate to honour the golden hour of both the sunrise and sunset.
Ring size - L
